Training Ship Implacable

T.S. Implacable was formed in Littlehampton, West Sussex in 1979 as the 50th Division of the N.T.C. and from that time it has been one of the leading youth groups in the area.

The unit offers a wide variety of activities that would be very hard for other youth organisation to equal, our policy on activities is:

"If Cadets want to do an activity, we will try to provide that activity, but safety comes first"

T.S.Implacable has a team of officers and helpers who have a clear understanding of the needs of young people and their safety.

The unit has two regular meeting nights a week plus additional night and weekends for Corps training activities:

Parade Night - Tuesday 18:45 to 21:15

Band Night - Thursday 18:50 to 21:10

Plus other nights and weekends for other activities listed here -

Uniform

The unit has a system of hiring uniforms to cadets. This system helps to keep the cost down, as new uniforms can be expensive. Replacement of uniforms is made when needed.

Safety of Cadets

Safety is the first rule in the Corps and one we work to all the time. We have many rules on safety that are up dated all the time and an adult that does not put safety first, would not last long with the Corps.

Younger Cadets

We have few restrictions on age, as activities are gauged to age groups. We find that younger cadets can do most of the things that older cadets can do, they just need more time, attention and help.

Flexible/shorter hours can be arranged for younger cadets if necessary.
